BALLET & BOXING

Ballet Shoes

Ballet dancing is a great workout for the whole body, for anyone from beginners to athletes. Being a weight bearing form of exercise it strengthens and tones the muscles throughout the body improving posture, mobility and flexibility. Increasing stamina and endurance, ballet will challenge and improve your balance and coordination also doing wonders for concentration and cognitive function. Testing your memory with varying exercises and patterns, sometimes adding challenging choreography, it keeps the mind healthy. Dancing to music will lower stress levels, bringing attention to breathing improving circulation. Ballet is great at building self confidence too!

Boxing 1 on 1 sessions also available with Saj Imran: These can be purchased in packs of ten.

10   WEEK BALLET COURSE

  • 1 class per week at KOTWF

  • Every Tuesday at 7pm from June 22nd

  • All abilities welcome.

  • Each class will begin with Barre work, followed by centre practice. You will begin with the fundamentals, gradually progressing the the more complex challenging positions and exercises

We offer a range of classes throughout the week including Performance Pilates and Endurance Strength.

It's quick and easy to book classes at KOTWF. All you need to do is select your chosen class, press book now, follow the links, pay online or in person before the class, and enjoy your session! We also accept bookings for multiple people if you want to attend with a group of friends but don't want the hassle at everyone booking separately. 

PERFORMANCE PILATES

As a former professional dancer, master in physiology and a qualified pilates instructor Esther brings a brilliant take on pilates for our members. Join her classes to get an awesome low impact workout that will complement any other training that you are doing or use both classes as your conditioning for the week. Esther does not go easy, you will be left shaking throughout as her progressions get harder and harder!

ENDURANCE STRENGTH

These classes will focus on an education of your body and how it works when trying to generate power. Specifically aimed at single leg stability and will involve barbells, weights, bands, boxes, plyometrics and some elements of pilates and human movement technique to give you a full body workout with a purpose.
